We are very excited to announce that ME³ has changed its name to Activate Good as of the launch of this new website. It has been six years since we got started as ME³, a rag tag group of volunteers determined to spread our love of volunteerism to others. Our efforts have taken many forms over the years, but no matter what causes our volunteers lent their energy to and no matter how our programs grew and evolved over time, our vision that all people would one day recognize and exercise their potential to make a difference remained the same.
The decision to become Activate Good came after a great deal of thought and searching our hearts to come up with a name that could appropriately express our excitement to grow as an organization, and to inspire and facilitate volunteerism for more people in the Raleigh, Wake County, and Triangle area. For us, reinventing ourselves as Activate Good represents a next step in our commitment to our mission to activate volunteers to help causes in our local community.
The unveiling of this new name, new brand, and new website marks an important milestone for our organization. Since getting started in 2005, we have rallied and connected hundreds of volunteers for community projects to benefit a range of local causes. Our new name and website enable us to take our efforts to the next level, bolstering our ability to reach out to, recruit, and match more volunteers to causes that need them.
